Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr had one of the best seasons at his position in the history of the franchise in 2016, making narrowing down his five best passes of the season quite the task.

Below, fans can find Carr’s five best passses ranked by a combination of importance and aesthetic beauty.

5. Carr to Crabtree on 4th and 2

Down 24-19 with and faced with a 4th-and-2 from the San Diego Chargers’ 21-yard line, Raiders coach Jack Del Rio (as per his style) decided to go for the conversion with just over one minute left in the 3rd quarter.

Instead of trying to pick up two or three yards for the first down, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr decided to throw the ball deep down the right sideline to wide receiver Michael Crabtree.

What resulted was a thing of beauty.
