With all the recent drama involving the Oakland Raiders and former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, Lynch is finally visiting the Raiders facility, per the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

It was never clear if Marshawn to Oakland was going to happen, but it seems like it is heading in a positive direction.

General manager Reggie McKenzie has been very conservative in going after free agent running backs, including Adrian Peterson and Lagarette Blount, so maybe he knew all along that Lynch was expected to sign. Seattle has also given the “ok” to Lynch talking with the Raiders, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

With all this recent news, Adam Schefter expects that Lynch will eventually sign.

Maybe Mckenzie knew he couldn’t spend a ton of money going after LB Zach Brown because he would have to pay the Oakland native’s contract soon, whatever the total may be if Lynch signs.

Nevertheless, this is an exciting day for the Raider Nation. Nothing has happened yet, but it seems like Lynch will be an Oakland Raider sometime in the near future. It is a great move to help bolster the running back position, for he fits perfectly with RB Jalen Richard and RB DeAndre Washington to provide a dangerous one-two punch for the Oakland offense.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Lynch “intends to un-retire and play again.”
