It didn’t take long after Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman asked his team to seek a trade for him for the odds-makers to launch their prop bets. However, fans may be surprised to learn that the Oakland Raiders are indeed one of favorites to land the brazen CB.

Here are today’s odds for Sherman’s services as released Friday by Bookmaker.eu:

New Orleans Saints +300
Oakland Raiders +400
Atlanta Falcons +500
Dallas Cowboys +550
Tennessee Titans +600
Seattle Seahawks +800
Jacksonville Jaguars +1200
Green Bay Packers +1600
New England Patriots +3000
Field +350

The No. 2 best odds may excite some who desire to have Sherman don the Silver and Black, but it’s highly unlikely Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie will trade his philosophy and begin pursuing high-priced players on the market now.

The most telling thing from these odds doesn’t have anything to do with the Raiders, rather, it’s how long the Seahawks rank on this list.

For those that may be wondering, Sherman would be just the latest in a line of Seahawks to make the move to the Bay Area. A list that includes Raiders defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. as well as linebackers Malcolm Smith and Bruce Irvin.
