Round 7, Pick 3 (No. 221) (From Cardinals) – Shalom Luani, S, Washington State

Former Washington State safety Shalom Luani was a former professional soccer player turned NFL safety.

Surprisingly, he had great production in college. He put up 157 tackles and eight interceptions in his two seasons.

Luani has good athleticism but struggles to be a consistent tackler. He is a major project and is not expected to see much of the field this season.

Round 7, Pick 13 (No. 231) – Jylan Ware, OT, Alabama State

Former Alabama State tackle Jylan Ware is a monster at 6-foot-8, 295 pounds. His massive frame provides immense potential, but it won’t be realized for at least a few seasons.

He is a major project who probably won’t see much of the field in 2017.
