In a move to depart from the typical marching-band style halftime show, the College Football playoff has decided to have a more commercial show, much like the Super Bowl.

The new halftime show will debut in 2018, according to the Associated Press. The concert will be at Centennial Olympic park, right down the street from Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz stadium, where the game will be held.

Expect a big name to headline this show.

ESPN and the CFB Playoff crew has an interactive experience with screens showing the game in tandem to the concert for those who need a break from the stands.

They are obviously hoping to recreate the NFL halftime show, and they definitely have the budget to do it.
