The Los Angeles Chargers’ organization is continuing to make news for the right reasons.
Yesterday, they announced they would be sponsoring Venice Pride. Today, former Chargers’ PR department employee Bill Johnston announced he is running a marathon on Sunday to raise money to fight Huntington’s Disease.

Johnston has been with the organization’s PR department from 1979 to 2016.
Johnston decided to not move with the team to Los Angeles because he needed to spend time with his wife, who was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease in 1999.
The system they had set up in San Diego, to deal with her illness, could not be matched in Los Angeles.
