Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen is crucial to the Chargers’ success as he is the talented leader of the team’s receiving corps.

Allen is not only important for his production, but he will play an invaluable role in helping develop young and adept Chargers wide receivers Mike Williams and Tyrell Williams, who are imperative for the organization’s future prosperity.

According to Chargers wide receivers coach Nick Sirianni, Allen “is obviously the leader of the group” and is a “great example” for other teammates because he “runs such good routes” making it so others “can grow watching him.”

Without a doubt, Allen is important to the young guys, but he needs to make sure he can stay healthy first.

In regards to Allen’s return, Sirianni thinks Allen is “fearless” and “hungry.” He won’t let any setback “hold him down” and is ready to have a great season despite the recent injuries.

If the former Cal Bear can stay healthy, then it will be a monstrous year for him and the rest of the Los Angeles wide receivers.
