Ice Cube, the unofficial president of the Raider Nation, congratulated Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr on his new five-year $125 million deal that he signed yesterday, via Ice Cube’s Twitter account.

Carr is a bonafide superstar with last year’s play on the field. Now, he has his $25 million per year payday to confirm his stardom and should expect to get many more tweets involving celebrities like Ice Cube.
Just like Carr building Oakland’s organization from scratch, Ice Cube will be trying to do the same with the BIG 3 basketball league that is set to launch tomorrow in Brooklyn and is filled with past NBA legends.
Hopefully, Ice Cube can have his league burst on the scene much like Carr did this week with his record-breaking contract and this year after bringing Oakland their first playoff appearance since 2003.
