Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr had some fun after signing his record-breaking contract yesterday saying he wouldn’t be on the 1-yard line and not “give it to Marshawn” or “throw it,” per NBC Sports’ Michael Smith.

Carr is poking fun at the Seattle Seahawks’ Super Bowl loss in 2015 when Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw an interception at the one-yard line when they could have handed the ball off to Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch.

If Oakland is any similar situation this upcoming season, they will surely give the ball to Lynch and have him pound it in behind the great offensive line despite Carr making almost five times as much as Lynch.

If the Raiders get to a goal-line situation to win the Super Bowl, Raider Nation should have the utmost confidence as they have an MVP-caliber quarterback to throw a pinpoint strike or a future Hall of Fame running back to score.

Regardless of the play call, it is hard to imagine Oakland not scoring from the one-yard line to win a game.
