Tuesday is day No. 12 of Chargers Wire’s countdown to Los Angeles Chargers training camp which begins on July 29. Each day we will count down the best Charger to wear each jersey number from No. 30 to No. 1.

As such, we take a look at the history of the No. 19 for the Bolts.

Former Chargers wide receiver Lance Alworth, amongst the easiest selections in this series, was the first Charger to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Interestingly enough, former Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis introduced Alworth in the Hall of Fame ceremony.
