Tuesday is day No. 13 of Raiders Wire’s countdown to Oakland Raiders training camp which begins on July 28. Until that day, we will count down the best player to wear each jersey number from No. 26 to No. 1 — looking now at jersey No. 14.

Surprisingly, former Raiders quarterback Matt McGloin checks in as the best to don the No. 14 in Oakland’s storied history. McGloin being at the top of any list may come as a shock to a lot of Raider Nation, but the pickings are indeed very slim for jersey No. 14.

In fact, just six Raiders have ever made the 53-man roster in franchise history, per the team’s official site.
