Recently, Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr told Dan Patrick on his show that he loves “helping people” and doing “special things” on the “spur of the moment.”

With his new five-year, $125 extension, Carr now has resources that he has never had before in his life, which will afford him the opportunity to give back to the community in ways only previously imagined.

However, the new flow of cash does come with some drawbacks as Carr thinks having the money can be a bit “weird” because people often expect him to do a generous act every time someone sees him, per Patrick.
