In a tragic accident Monday morning, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney was killed when his automobile collided with another vehicle in Dallas.

According to a press statement from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. and involved two automobiles. A preliminary investigation indicated that a white car was speeding and collided with another vehicle behind, resulting in a head-on collision.
